Matt Brash on Television

Matt's television career began with the BBC in 1998 with a popular series based at Chester Zoo. 'Vet to the Rescue' was a run of 29 x 30 minute episodes and was followed by a series of the same length, ‘Vets in the Country’, which was based in his surgery at Stamford Bridge.

Moving to ITV, Matt had two long running series - ‘Zoo Vet’ and ‘Zoo Vet at Large’ which ran for nine years (almost 100 episodes) and finished in 2007.

'Zoo Vet at Large' followed Matt at work as zoo vet at Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire. The programme originated from Yorkshire Television and is now shown worldwide on channels such as Sky Travel and the Danish channel Viasat.

Owls & Pussycats

Matt's other television appearances include 'ITV Wildlife Police', a Channel 4 guest appearance on 'Pet Rescue'. He has worked in an advisory capacity for BBC1 – ‘Beast’. He was also a veterinary advisor looking after the owls for Harry Potter films 1 and 2.
